Help Braden Heal
On Friday, May 23, 2025, 13-year-old Braden Lloyd of Chester, IL, was severely injured in a devastating bicycle accident. He was airlifted to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, where he remains under intensive care.
Braden, a proud pitcher for Chester’s Yellow Jackets baseball team, has been diagnosed with multiple traumatic injuries, including:
A fractured neck and cervical vertebrae
Skull fractures and broken orbital sockets
A broken nose in two places
Severe facial lacerations requiring reconstructive surgery
His father, Brandon Lloyd, an employee of the Illinois Department of Corrections, has been by his side every moment, facing the emotional and financial burden of this tragedy.
We are asking for your kindness and support to help cover medical expenses, travel costs, and ongoing care during Braden’s long road to recovery.
Please consider making a donation—no amount is too small. Your generosity will help lift a heavy burden off this dedicated father and give Braden a fighting chance to return to the game—and life—he loves.
Thank you for your compassion, prayers, and support.
