My name is Josephine Vega, and I am writing this on behalf of my dad, Andy Vega, the owner of Precision Cuts Barbershop 2. On Friday, February 20th, a devastating 3-alarm fire broke out in the basement of a neighboring building after a fuse malfunctioned. The fire quickly traveled up five floors and spread into the building that houses Precision Cuts 2 in Easton, Pennsylvania. While we are incredibly grateful that there was no direct fire damage inside the barbershop itself, the severe water damage has forced Precision Cuts 2 to close indefinitely.

Most importantly, during the response to this tragic fire, a brave firefighter was seriously injured after falling three stories and was rushed to the ICU. We are praying for his full recovery and are deeply thankful for the courage and sacrifice of all the first responders who risked their lives that day.

The water damage has made it impossible to reopen anytime soon. Barber chairs, stations, tools, equipment, and portions of the interior must be replaced or fully restored. The unexpected loss of income during this closure has also placed a heavy burden on Andy and his team. We are raising funds to help replace damaged barber chairs, stations, and equipment, restore and repair the water-damaged interior, secure a temporary or new location if necessary, and support Andy and his team as they rebuild.

Andy has made it clear — this setback will not stop him. He is determined to come back stronger and continue serving the community he loves so much.
