Hi, we’re ParentingGH,a nonprofit committed to improving family and community well-being in Ghana. Right now, we’re leading an urgent effort to renovate Ward 9 (the Men’s Ward) at Pantang Mental Health Facility in Accra and we need your help. 

 

Why This Matters 

 

Pantang is one of Ghana’s few dedicated mental health hospitals. Yet, Ward 9 is in heartbreaking condition. Peeling walls, broken beds, inadequate plumbing, and an overall environment that does more harm than healing. Mental health patients deserve dignity. Safe spaces. Clean bedding. A chance at real recovery. Right now, they have none of that. But together, we can change it. 

 

What We Are Doing 

The Pantang Project will:

 • Repair walls, ceilings, and floors • Install new plumbing and ventilation 

 • Replace broken beds and mattresses 

 •Repaint and deep clean the ward 

 • Provide basic furniture and therapeutic touches.   

 Where Your Money Goes

 Your donation goes directly to: 

 • Construction materials and skilled labor 

 • Beds, mattresses, and sanitary supplies 

 • Paint, cleaning supplies, and ventilation upgrades

 • Supporting local artisans and tradespeople.
