(04/03/2025)- Abdurehman's Passing-

On April 3rd, 2025, we were notified by Abdurehman's older brother Dildar Muhammad that Abdurehman passed away in ICU at AL Shifa Hospital Limited in Pakistan. Abdurehman's immune system fell under a life-threatening infection during his donor-matched stem cell transplant surgery that was intended to cure his Thalassemia- an inherited blood disorder that results in the underproduction of hemoglobin and in turn the sufficient bodily passage of oxygen. Abdurehman's family and I, as well as a handful of others included in Abdurehman's journey, have all been extremely devastated by the unfortunate outcome of Abdurehman's passing. 



The Redirection of Our Purpose-

Dildar Muhammad, late Abdurehman's oldest brother, had been emotionally distraught after his passing. Since then, he has expressed deep grief of his baby brother, sharing old photos and memories he cherishes between them to our social group, and communicating his feelings about losing someone so endearing to him after fighting for him so long.

Eventually, Dildar was able to emotionally and mentally continue moving forward in his endeavor to better the conditions of his family. He eventually expressed that saving Abdurehman was one of many goals he wanted to accomplish. He also set sight on building his mother a new home much better than the conditions of the home she and the rest of his family currently live in. Abdurehman was the second child their mother has lost to Thalassemia Major. It means a lot of Dildar that he is able to accomplish building this new home as their current conditions are not stable enough to sufficiently support the family of 8, including the additional new child that has been introduced into the home as of July 2025. This is the new purpose of the fundraiser.

Your support has help this family so much! During the last four months, Dildar has been able to use the most recent donations on behalf of Abdurehman to afford his proper burial at their family's gravesite.

Not only this, but the family has began on the foundation and water supply of the new home intended for the family. The outline of the home is as such: three bedrooms, three washrooms, kitchen/living room space. They have been able to outline each room so far, and construct the grounded platform of which the house will sit on.
