Kim Allen, a longtime Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission employee and proud Tallahassee resident, is facing an unimaginable tragedy.
Recently, Kim lost her husband, Billy, and their home, in a devastating fire. Her son, Nicholas, who also lived with them, has been deeply affected by this heartbreaking loss - tragically, the fire occurred on Nicholas's birthday, turning what should have been a day of celebration into one of profound grief. In addition to losing their home and a loving husband and father, Kim and Nicholas also lost all of their beloved pets.
After dedicating 40 years of service to the State of Florida, Kim just retired from FWC this past December—looking forward to a new chapter of life. Instead, she and Nicholas are now navigating overwhelming loss and starting over from nothing.
Kim has spent her career serving Florida’s natural resources and community with dedication and heart. Now, she needs our support.
This fundraiser is to help Kim and Nicholas begin to rebuild—covering immediate needs, housing, and the long road ahead as they recover from this tragedy.
Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Kim and her family in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Every bit of support makes a difference.
