On behalf of our family, we are fundraising for my little brother, Brandon Cheese. Brandon's life was tragically taken way too soon, on April 3, 2022 and it's been beyond heartbreaking to process.
He was only 22 years old, a month away from his birthday. He was a hardworking, devoted and passionate young man. No matter how many challenges he faced in life, he believed so much in himself and his potential. We will never forget how involved he was in our San Francisco/Bay Area community and how many countless lives he touched with his love of empowerment and care for others, especially the homeless community.
Brandon was the young man on the corner with his barber chair and hair tools providing free haircuts and changing the lives of those who were otherwise forgotten. His smile was so bright and he could light up anyone he spoke with to make their day better. He was a strong pillar for our youth, our community and above all our family.
Brandon was such a loving young man, son, friend, brother and father to his sweet baby girl, Nylah. He loved her more than life itself and would want the very best for her. It breaks our hearts to know she will not have the opportunity to be raised by Brandon, the man we love so fiercely, but we promise to help care and love her as best as we can, as a family unit.
We will miss him more than words could ever express. In an effort to help ease the family's financial and emotional burden, we are seeking your love and support during this painful time.
