My name is Jay and this is the most difficult time in our lives.
On June 9th. 2024 my family’s world was turned upside down and forever changed for the worse.
Our Beloved Son Jace lost his battle with mental illness and depression to Suicide at the young age of 24. Leaving our entire family in complete disbelief and despair including his three babies aged 1,2 and 3.
And now less than a year later as if things can’t get any worse “so we thought” I have been diagnosed with Cancer.
A major and extremely intrusive facial surgery is scheduled to remove the tumor in my mouth. I will likely lose part of my jaw and possibly some of my tongue to get as much cancer out as possible. Followed by Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy depending on the success of the surgery.
While I do have insurance there will be a lot of associated costs that will not be covered.
Recovery will be a long and difficult road for all of us.
The Financial Burden is going to be extremely hard to cope with as you can imagine.
Im not just fighting for my life, Im fighting for my family’s also.
My Wife, My Daughters and My 14 Grandchildren, yes 14, what a Blessing they are too.
This GoFundMe is about more than just medical bills.
I want to make sure that my loving family is taken care of in the event that I lose my battle with this awful disease.
