Shine A Light is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals living in the tunnels beneath Las Vegas. Many of these people face daily challenges that most of us can hardly imagine, from finding food and shelter to seeking rehabilitation and hope for a better future. The Straw Hat Runners are taking on a race through extreme conditions to raise awareness for Shine A Light and the vital work they do. Our journey is meant to reflect, in some small way, the physical and mental obstacles that those living in the tunnels endure every day.

The funds we raise will go directly to supporting our efforts to raise awareness and Shine A Light themselves, helping to provide rehabilitation services, food, and other essential resources for people who might otherwise go without support.
