Annapurna Circuit Trek for Gurkha Welfare Trust

Donation protected
I have been in the British Army for 15 and half years, serving as a combat medic with both 1 Royal Gurkha Rifles and 2 Royal Gurkha Rifles on Operations and Deployments. In 2022 I made the decision to trade transfer to become a Nurse with the dream of going back to one of the Battalions as their nurse. During my time I never got the opportunity to go to Nepal, but I did see first-hand how amazing work the Gurkha Welfare Trust does as they provide financial, medical, and developmental aid to Gurkha veterans, their families, and communities.

I currently live with Chronic Pain and after my success at the inaugural Invictus Games, winning four gold medals for team UK, I now see the power that sport and being outdoors can have. So I have set myself and my chronic pain body the challenge to complete the Annapurna Circuit in October 2025 reaching up to 5416m after graduating from my nursing degree and to end my transition from Army Medic to Nurse.

All money will go to the Gurkha Welfare trust which I will present in person at the end of the trek. I promise my Nepali will be better by then too, for now, Dhanyabad
