Meet my friend Stan. He works as a greeter for a big box store. I jokingly call him the Mayor because He knows everyone and everyone knows and loves him after working the door at the Newport News location for over 13 years. He has won awards for fund raising for CHKD and is always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need. Today, he has a need. His 17 year old van’s chair lift has died. He has checked all options and has found out that the lift is obsolete and the new lifts being manufactured no longer fit his old van. Here is where you come in… I am starting a Go Fund Me page for Stan. He needs a ride. He is a very active volunteer in the community and needs reliable transportation to and from work. A used wheel chair van starts at about 30,000.00. Any donation that you could contribute would be greatly appreciated.
