Support Adam and Angela's Fertility Journey
My wife (Angela) and myself (Adam) are looking to have our first child. We have been married for 3 years but have been together for 7 years, and we are both in our early 30s and trying to have our first child. My wife has had some challenges in life when it comes to sexual experiences, and I had a stroke while waiting for a heart transplant in 2016, which left me with no feeling on the left side of my body. Unfortunately, that means in the areas that are important for making a child. No pills, pumps, or medicines will help me, and even if they did, my wife is not a fan of anything sexual. So, we are at a part in our lives where we decided to try getting help with a fertility clinic and decided to try IUI.
It was pricey, but we were able to put aside enough funds with our limited income to try the procedure once. Sadly, after her body responded well and I was able to provide DNA samples, we did not get the desired result we were looking for, and we found out today she was not pregnant. Devastated, my wife and I spoke to the clinic, and they want to know if we want to try for round 2. The problem, though, is money. We would love to go as many times as it takes, but in order for us to go each time, it's just under $2000 every time we go to attempt to conceive, and we are just asking for any help from anyone out there who can spare a little money. We will be trying every month if funds allow, and after a few times, if the IUI doesn't work, we will be trying IVF, which is more involved and a little pricier, but it can have far better results.
Please, we only ask for help if you can afford it, and we would never ask you to donate if it would put you in a bind. We understand times are tough right now, and we are only asking for help if you truly have extra. If you can't contribute monetarily, maybe you can contribute by just sharing this video or link for us. It would mean the world to us. Thank you again, Adam & Angela.
