Single mom in a very challenging situation

Hello,

My name is Stefania! I am organizing this fundraiser to support my friend who is going through a very challenging time.

She is a single mom of a little girl and expecting her second child.

My friend, who wishes to remain anonymous, is going to lose her job in November and will be evicted from her flat as of the 31st December.

Her baby is due mid- January and, although she's already applying for housing support from the Council, she has not been granted priority and she has been told there is a waiting list of 1-2 years.

She has been encouraged to find housing through private rental and then get some support from the Council but flats near her support network are all out of budget.

My heart aches so much thinking of a mother going through this during an already challenging time of life!

My friend has a wonderful soul and has always been committed to supporting her community! Can her community support her now?

Can we all help give a mother and her new baby the start they deserve?

I am starting this fundraiser by donating 200 pounds and I will donate 20% of my earnings from now untill the 31st December!

But I need your help to reach our goal which will support her financially for housing, birth, postpartum support and childcare over the baby's first 6 months of life. Will you help?
