My name is Lynn Robbins. I have Shangrala Horse and Animal Rescue. My
family and I have rescued hundreds of animals over many years with our
own private resources. We have also helped many children and young
adults over the years. Riding, grooming, and just generally being around
horses has been proven to be therapeutic for children and adults alike.
The
price of hay and grain has more than tripled this year due to the
drought. We have enough hay to last till the second week of January. We
need help to buy hay and grain for the rescue and therapy horses and
ponies. It's breaking our hearts because we will have to destroy these
patient, loving, kind horses if we do not get some help to buy hay and
grain. Our handicapped children and young adults will suffer greatly
because they will be losing their best friends. Any donations will be
greatly appreciated.
