I'm Shams, a father from Gaza. Life here has been tough, to say the least. My family, we're five in total, and we're struggling. My wife recently gave birth to two children amidst the chaos of war, but they're not getting the nourishment they need. Finding food and water for them is a daily battle, one we often lose.

Our home? It's gone, destroyed by the relentless bombings. We're left with nothing but rubble and uncertainty. We're homeless, desperately trying to find a safe place to stay.

I'm reaching out because I need your help, your kindness. We can't do this alone. Leaving Gaza seems like our only chance at a better life, but it's expensive. The cost of escaping, of finding safety for my family, it's beyond what we can afford. But I refuse to give up hope.

I'm not asking for much, just a helping hand to lift us out of this darkness. Your donation, no matter how small, could change everything for us. It could mean food on the table, a roof over our heads, and most importantly, a chance for my children to grow up without fear.

Travel expenses/

First: Coordination from Gaza to Egypt. The intermediary is Ya Hala Travel Company. Coordination is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 for a minor, and we are a family of 5 people.

Second: Notary public and document translation fees Required (about $200

Third: Application fee for 5 people ($100 per person).

Fourth: Residence in Cairo for 3-4 weeks while awaiting papers (estimated at $1,500)

Fifth: Airline tickets for 5 people from Cairo to Australia (estimated at 1,500 US dollars per person).

Sixth: House rent (estimated at $2000).
