Help Launch a Self-Sustaining Martial Arts Hub for Northside
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Ron—a martial arts coach on a mission to empower Northside youth for free while keeping this dream alive through affordable adult classes.
My Story:
After leaving my job to coach full-time, I’ve been hustling with DoorDash, private lessons and (hopefully soon) substitute teaching to stay afloat. But I refuse to let financial hurdles stop me from creating a safe, consistent space where kids can learn discipline, confidence, and resilience—at no cost to their families.
The Plan:
Free Youth Classes: For kids who need mentorship and a positive outlet.
Sliding-Scale Adult Training: Affordable classes ($50−$100/month) for adults to help fund the youth program.
Secure a Space: I’ve found a small Northside office to rent for $350/month. With your help, I’ll turn it into a dojo that serves everyone. (Will provide regular updates also)
Why $1,500?
This modest goal covers:
First month’s rent + deposit: $700
Basic mats/equipment: $500
Liability insurance: $300
Your Impact:
Every $50 = 1 month of free training for a child.
Every $100 = Helps outfit the space with safety gear.
No donation is too small—even $10 shows Northside believes in this vision.
Sustainability First:
This isn’t a handout—it’s a jumpstart. Once we hit $1,500, adult fees will keep the lights on so the kids never pay a dime. Your support now means this project can thrive long-term.
Transparency Promise:
I’ll share receipts for every expense.
Monthly updates on class progress and finances.
A Personal Ask:
“I’m not here to get rich—I’m here to give back. With $1,500, we can launch a space where everyone in Northside grows stronger, together.” – Ron
