RE: California American Water (Cal-Am) Proposed Water Moratorium for Hidden Hills/Bay Ridge (per Application 19-07-005)
Cal-Am is proposing a Water Moratorium that impacts all property owners in Bay Ridge and Hidden Hills (and other areas of the Monterey region).
At the November 15th, 2019 Bay Ridge Board of Directors Meeting, the Board agreed that a challenge to the Cal-Am Moratorium serves the public interest of Bay Ridge and Hidden Hills property owners. The board approved funds of $5,000 to support the legal team challenging the Cal-Am Moratorium.
A very small group of Bay Ridge Residents have also personally donated $5,000.00 to the cause. However, even with that generosity - it's still not enough!
Ultimately, water is expensive here in Monterey. And if Cal-Am keeps on getting their way water will get EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE in the coming years.
We now seek further donations for the cause, and you can donate and help us “Say No To Cal-Am…” via this GoFundMe.
