Save The Quill!

For the past 10+ years, the Fraternal Order of Porcupines has operated a clubhouse and community center, catering to the libertarian community in Southern New Hampshire. If you've ever visited for Porcfest or Liberty Forum, you've likely heard tell of the Quill. If you've lived in the Merrimack Valley, you have come to know how Important The Quill has been - not just as a community center, but as a base for activism and outreach over the years, serving host to the monthly Free State Project New Mover's Parties as well as monthly agorist Market Days for the Community.

Well, after 11 years on Manchester's West Side, the iconic clubhouse has come up against a confluence of events that are forcing us to reevaluate its future. The lease on the club's commercial space is ending, and the property manager has informed us that the owner of the club"s building intends to sell the building. With so much in flux simultaneously, the future of the community center is in doubt.

A working group of members and community leaders have been investigating options for the club's future, including looking at alternative properties as well as the possibility of purchasing the current building. Ideally, the club would own the future property, to bring permanence to our 10+ year history. We want to make sure that there will always be a permanent place for the Southern New Hampshire Libertarian Community to congregate. Our Initial Goal is $600,000 for the purchase of our current building or another suitable property.

If you would like to contribute with a possibility of return, Emergent Order Ltd is issuing QUILL Tokens to assist in fundraising for the purchase of the building. For more information about how to contribute and get QUILL Tokens in return, visit https://emergentorder.io

If you'd like to donate more than $1,000 and take advantage of what Emergent Order is offering their donors to help out, visit https://emergentorder.io for our contact information.

The Fraternal Order of Porcupines is a registered Non-Profit Corporation with the State of New Hampshire,  and The Quill operates as a membership-driven social club and community center.
