Hello, my name is Reem, and I am 10 years old.

I am writing this while living in a tent with my family.

I live with my beautiful family in Gaza: my sister, four brothers, my mother, and my father. I used to live a happy and peaceful life with my friends, but after what happened on the seventh of October, our lives changed and turned into an unbearable hell. Many people know about what we are going through because of the aggression on my beloved homeland, Palestine, Gaza, the siege, and the terrible war where there is no source of life.

Sometimes we go to sleep hungry, and we struggle every day to find clean water to drink. There is no proper shelter to live in.

We lost our home and our source of income, and now my family lives in a tent under very difficult conditions. My parents lost their source of income, and we now depend completely on help from kind people. I lost my school and my dreams, and every night we live in complete fear from the sounds of explosions and rockets falling around us.

Please help evacuate me and my small family from Gaza to Egypt so we can live a dignified life in safety, away from fear and terror. Every second that passes in this hell is very hard to bear.

Please have mercy and compassion. Every small amount helps plant hope inside us to move from death to life. Every minute that passes inside Gaza feels like a thousand years to us. Thank you for your understanding. I truly appreciate your humanity.

My friends in this human world, I come to you with a heavy heart, burdened by our story, our lives shattered by the ongoing violence in Gaza. We need all the support we can get to survive and rebuild our lives again. I hope you can help us reach safety.

This is why we created this campaign, and we have two urgent goals:

First goal:

To raise money for food, clean water, and the basic necessities we need to live with dignity in the tent.

Second goal:

To raise money to evacuate us through the Rafah border to Egypt, so we can live in safety away from fear and danger.

No child should grow up like this. I only dream of safety for my family.
