Donations for this GoFundMe Fundraiser are closed at this time.  However you can still donate directly to the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum  on their website.

This GoFundMe fundraiser was started to try and stop the closure of the museum at MCAS Miramar and to raise awareness of the museum's plight.  Now the goal is to help the museum relocate to El Toro.  So the fight continues and donors are encouraged to visit the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum website to learn about ways to help keep this history alive.

Thank you and Semper Fi!

Here is what some of our youngest supporters have to say about this museum:

The funds raised were used to post a billboard to raise awareness and it seems likely that this had an impact on the Marine Corps which ordered that all Marine Corps aircraft at the museum remain in place for an additional 6 months while the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation works out the details of a relocation plan.  Thank you to everyone for your generous support: it made a difference!
