Sandman Donates

On September 10th a Detroit Lions season ticket holder decided to take a photo of other fans and called them a Racial slur.

In response to the offensive and inexcusable Snapchat/Facebook post, (info here http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2017/09/14/detroit-lions-fan-snapchat/665790001/)
which resulted in a Lions fan forfeiting his season tickets after public outcry, another season ticket holder stepped forward. Determined to see something good come from this reprehensible act, Andy re-purchased the tickets from the Lions with one goal – show the world who Lions fans really are! His intention is to donate the tickets to local charities serving kids who might not otherwise have a chance to attend a Detroit Lions game.  (Interview with ESPN - http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20764936/tickets-racist-detroit-lions-fan-donated-charities)

The tickets are paid for, what's not paid for in the game experiance of food, parking, memorabilia and any other fun things! We are looking to collect money to make the trip to ford field a truly "Free" one. Once we reach our goal we plan to spread out the rest of the funds to the 7 local charities that were chosen to help fund their missions.

All money donated will go to the charities chosen and talked about at SandmanDonates.com No money will go towards the tickets purchassed or any other expense.
