Sadaqah Jariyah for Afroz - Support Orphans
Donation protected
Sadaqah Jariyah- the gift that keeps on giving.
If you would like to send a gift to Afroz for her one-year departure from this world, then kindly consider giving to this cause that was close to her heart.
As you may already be aware, whilst Afroz was still with us, we raised funding for the construction of an orphanage (in Togo) to house 10 beautiful orphans, Alhamdullilah. Following Afroz passing away, so many of you generous people continued to donate out of the kindness of your hearts, and these funds are being used to support these 10 orphans for 4 years, as well as having been applied towards feeding other orphans in need.
If you would like to continue donating towards this cause, you may do so, and these funds raised will be applied towards providing for the 10 orphans for an additional year (in total, 5 years), and if surplus funds are raised, these can be used to feed other orphans urgently in need.
All is being facilitated through a charity organisation, MATW International Ltd.
Please contact us if you wish to get an update, or require any details regarding this project.
Why this project for Afroz -
Afroz, being a recent mother herself, was very passionate about supporting orphans and towards the end of her illness, she communicated her desire to continue to direct any sadaqah jariyah towards Orphans.
A little about Afroz -
Afroz Ali Awan, 34 years of age, was a full of life joyous soul, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Recently given birth to a beautiful son, Afroz was diagnosed with terminal cancer in September 2021. Her immense strength, iman and patience throughout her battle, was admirable. On 6th January 2022, as Allah (swt) had willed, Afroz journeyed back to Him.
What is Sadiqah Jariyah (the gift that keeps on giving) -
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him". The Prophet (saw) said, "The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this", and he (saw) held his two fingers together to illustrate.
May Allah (swt) accept this to be a Sadaqa Jariyah for Afroz and us all, Ameen.
