Bringing Light and Hope to Northern Uganda
For more than two decades, the people of Northern Uganda endured war, displacement, and poverty, which left lasting challenges. But in the middle of this hardship, God has opened a door of hope.
About the Mission
Sure Word Ministry (SWM) and The Three Angels Fellowship have taken Thou Art The Christ (TATC) in Uganda under their wings, and our missionary endeavors are bearing fruit beyond what we could have imagined.
- In 2020, we planned an evangelistic effort in Nwoya District. When COVID shut the world down, we held virtual meetings instead for three weeks—from 11 PM to 3 AM Pacific time.
- What began as curiosity turned into conviction. Local pastors and lay leaders asked for more, and from this hunger for truth, the SWM Training Bible College (SWMTBC) was born.
- Since 2021, nearly 100 pastors and gospel workers have graduated with Bible Instructor Certificates—and are now training their congregations and communities.
What's Happening on the Ground
This is not just about preaching—it's about meeting real needs. Together with TATC, we've been able to:
- Build a 500+ capacity sanctuary, ministry office, mission house, outbuildings, and compound with a well that provides clean water to hundreds of families in the community.
- Begin the construction of a Primary School serving hundreds of young children.
- Distribute hundreds of Bibles, KJV for those who can read English, and in the local language.
- Distribute solar radios with Bible messages in the local language, helping those who can't read or travel.
- Trained in medical missionary work and engaged in medical evangelism, offering natural remedies that have saved lives.
- Provide bicycles to ministers, enabling them to reach distant villages with the gospel.
Lives Transformed
The impact has been life-changing:
- Whole churches have accepted God's commandments and the faith of Jesus.
- Physical healing: Various life-threatening conditions, from venomous snake bites to chronic illnesses, have been treated with simple natural remedies.
- Spiritual freedom: Many have been delivered from demonic oppression and spiritualism.
- Deep love: Parents have named their newborn children after SWM ministers as a sign of gratitude.
Our Next Goal
Right now, our sanctuary is doubling as a multipurpose room. To keep up with the growth, we urgently need to build a dedicated training facility that includes:
- A classroom for 50+ students
- A library & study/computer lab
- Office space for staff and training leaders
