Suicide Prevention Bristol
Were raising money to fund Suicide Prevention Bristol to enable us to support more people feeling suicidal throughout Bristol.
Suicide Prevention Bristol has been operating since September 2018 and since then we have reduced the number of suicide in the known hot spots by a massive 73%, along with this we also have helped 100's of more people in emotional distress.
We do this by having volunteers doing foot patrols at known hot spots in Bristol to offer support, guidance and offer better alternatives to suicide.
Your donation will allow us to:
* Be there for people considering ending their life through suicide.
* Provide a further range of support to people in distress.
* Enable us apply for grants and further support for our volunteers.
* Allow us to further extend our training without having to pay room rental fees.
* Enable us to extend our opening times of our signposting service.
* Help us provide a faster response to people feeling suicidal via social media, text and telephone.
We are fully volunteer lead and have no paid staff. This ensures all monies raised goes directly into saving lives rather than paying staff.
Please help us continue to save lives in Bristol and surrounding areas and be there for people in need.
