"The Soul of a Fighter" Tessa Lynn's Journey
Donation protected

At only 23 weeks and 5 days, Tessa was born with a 30% chance. Weighing only 1lbs 4oz, she was 10 inches long. Tessa was not able to breathe on her own and was immediately placed on a respirator. Due to her lungs never developing normally Tessa was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and Chronic Lung Disease. Four years later and many obstacles conquered, Tessa has to face the biggest obstacle yet. Now in September, she will undergo Open-heart Surgery to fix an artery from her lung to her heart. We kindly ask for prayers and your generosity as we have to travel out of state for Tessa Lynn's surgery. We thank you so very much and may God bless you.
9/18/19 Update:
My family and I want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support. Words can not express the amount of gratitude and appreciation we have for you all. We are overwhelmed with everyone's generosity and prayers. Thank you all so, so much. We did want to update everyone on Tessa Lynn's surgery. Her surgery is now October 8th in Denver Colorado due to her surgeon going out of town. It does give us just a little bit longer to get everything in order and spend as much family time with our son who will have to stay behind for school. As it gets closer we will keep everyone updated. Again thank you, everyone, from the bottom of our hearts.

As a reminder to all who have struggles and heartache in their lives. These are our tests to prove our strength and love for those we care about most. Though I have seen many who need the strength more than we. We sometimes need helping hands to pull us up when we have fallen. Sometimes the fall can paralyze and blindside you. But knowing that there is someone there for you is such a comforting thing. It makes you want to cry. You can never seem to understand why having someone there supporting you is such an overwhelming feeling. It is the love that is shown through the actions we take for each other that means the most. Saying I love you is one thing, but showing the love, care, and dedication is something so much more. This is what gives us strength. This is what gives us courage, and this is what keeps us going. Thank you all for showing us how much you care.
