Stable Home for Russ Ebnet

Russ pulled up his stakes in Minneapolis last month and moved to Sanborn, MN where he intended to live and work. When he got there, it turned out that not only was there no work as promised, but his two roommates there criminally harassed him. He filed charges with the Sheriff last week and quickly fled town in his pick-up truck, with no place to live. Several of his friends from High School have made sure that he has a pet friendly place to stay until he can move in to something permanent. He found work as a security guard but won't collect until August 16.  Today he found an apartment on Garfield in Uptown Mpls for $850/mo, which is within his budget.  However he needs the money faster than he can get it. Additionally, his truck is in pretty rough shape and could go out on him at any time. I am going with him tomorrow to check out and hopefully sign a rental agreement for the place he found in Uptown. If he can make the dwon payment and security deposit, he'll be up and running again!! I have committed to make up whatever shortfall he has, if he can get the apartment. Also, we've made certain that he has not been homeless in this difficult time. I'm appealing to small donors mostly because his mood has been really down and I'd love to show him the wide support he has from those who knew and remember him. Any little bit helps. Thanks.
