I haven’t been fundraising these past couple of years, and it’s well past time to get back to it. Ironically, I had my own bout of cancer to deal with which was one of the reasons for the break. But my cancer is gone, and I am back to running.
If you’ve supported me in my various causes to raise money for cancer research in the past, then you know that both my grandmother and my brother died from this disease. I have a long and personal history of supporting this cause. It just got more intimately personal recently.
But I am running again now, and I am grateful to be able to do it.
Guys, I even bought a treadmill. And I hate treadmill running. But I am committed both to this cause and to my health.
And to yours.
I know it’s the holidays. I know groceries are ridiculously expensive. I know we are busy with lots of competing priorities.
And I know cancer doesn’t care.
I deeply appreciate anything you can contribute. I was very fortunate with my diagnosis and treatment. Not everybody is.
