Vulnerable Pensioner Robbed.

Newmarket, Suffolk. It was brought to our attention yesterday by neighbour Lorena Alvarado that a pensioner ‘Robin’ who is in bad health, has cerebral palsy and is very vulnerable was robbed over the weekend. Two low life’s walked into his house while he was sat watching TV in an aggravated burglary and swore at him then took various items and money. Myself and my friend Shaun went to visit him today to let him know he isn’t alone, and see if we can do anything to help. Basically we found his front door is in a shocking state and desperately needs replacing. His property is generally run down and needs some repairs. We have made it secure for now but this needs dealing with ASAP. Now where we can all help. I approached our local builder Paul Wolfe who helps with out with anyone in the community if he can. He offered straight away to do the work for nothing. To fit the door and make sure it is safe and secure. He also has a friend that supplies doors that offered to supply us with a door at a heavily discounted price. I want to ask you good people if we can show that we really do care for one of our own and raise the money between us to get this done ASAP. I know we have some lovely people that will help. There is more good people than bad so let’s not let them beat us. I promise this is someone that really needs our help, and who is scared now in his own home. Thank you for reading.
