Support for Dad's Cancer Battle

A few weeks ago, my father went to the emergency room, feeling extremely sick and not being able to keep anything down. There were countless blood draws, tests, and scans. Eventually, we found out he has cancer in his spleen. With further tests and scans, it was confirmed he has stage 4 cancer in his lungs, spleen, lymph nodes, and brain.

Last week, we received the call that he only has a few weeks left, unless he starts radiation for his brain... which even then will be 3-5 months, at best. My father is only 56 years old. This is not the news we wanted to hear. He's the guy that if you ask for help, he will be there. If he sees a car broken down on the side of the road, he'd stop to ask what he can do to help.

My mother is doing all she can at home to take care of him. On top of everything, he fractured his arm, so it makes things even more difficult. She is driving him to the radiation appointments, helping with medications, cooking meals, etc. My hopes in this page, is to create enough funds to take my father on his last road trip, so we can enjoy these last moments together as a family.
