The Rise and Shine Trust (formerly known as the Irish Pilgrimage Trust) is an organisation made up of hundreds of volunteers throughout our country who have the privilege of bringing children and young people with special needs on a week-long Pilgrimage Holiday to Lourdes each Easter.

This very unique and often life enhancing experience is provided annually to approximately 400 young people with additional needs. Group 67 - takes 10 guests from Newry, Mourne and Armagh. The experience is of no cost to our guests and relies heavily on donations and fundraising efforts of our volunteers.
