Richard’s Way is a dynamic nonprofit organization driven by passionate leaders committed to fostering diverse opportunities for youth in our community. Our unwavering mission is to empower young individuals through immersive recreational activities within social events. We strive to explore, educate, empower, support, and inspire joy, creativity, and healthy lifestyles.

Central to our ethos is promoting physical activity, social connection, emotional well-being, and happiness within a safe, inclusive environment. We are dedicated to empowering children to not just survive, but to thrive, fostering enduring memories and experiences.

This nonprofit is in memory of the late, Richard Henderson who lost his life while breaking up a fight on a new york city train.

Richard dedicated his life to working with children and his colleagues he loved that became family to him at the avenues of the world school, while raising his own children and spending as much time as possible with them, never missing a practice, game nor any important events in their lives. Richard's passion for helping young people inspires our work and drives us to make a difference in our community.
