Request for a Cancer Warrior - Danny Sundquist

Dear family and friends. It is almost a year now since the original diagnosis for my son Danny. I am so proud of him and how he has battled this horrible disease. He has worked through chemo, treatments, and pain, while never missing a day from work. Danny is a hardworking man who lives paycheck to paycheck, but now Danny can no longer work. He has been off since September 4th. The ravages of this disease and the side effects of chemo and radiation has taken such tolls on his body.

The cancer is in his esophagus, stomach, and has invaded a third of his liver. The 4th of September was when became very jaundiced; he even worked that day. Thanks to his wonderful new doctor, he had Danny at the medical center in Las Vegas, the next day, where they put a stent in his bile duct, helping that situation greatly. The doctors have told him this cancer is terminal; they have not told him any time frame, all we need is a miracle.

Currently, he is living with a lot of pain from the treatments he has received. He also experiences excruciating spasms which are incredibly debilitating. He applied for disability that has been approved, but this will not begin until March. We tried an appeal, but this is Social Security’s policy. So how is a family to survive? We, his family and friends, have helped all we can. We are coming once again to humbly ask for financial assistance and prayer for a miracle. We have been able to pay his insurance so far, and we can not allow this to lapse.

So here I am, Danny’s mom, humbly asking for help again. He is receiving no financial assistance until March. We are filing for other services, but right now it is just his wife working, and we all know with this economy, one salary doesn’t make it. He is a brave warrior against this horrible disease. Danny is such a hard worker, he just needs financial help now to take one worry from his life.
