Christopher is raising funds for his father after his passing on Sunday, September 6th, at the age of 47. Christopher’s family did not have much time to prepare, and they are now facing funeral costs that are overwhelming and hard on them. Christopher’s father was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps who loved his time in the service with the very people who he stood beside. He had a family that extended far beyond blood through his dedication and loyalty to all he called brothers and sisters.
<br>
<br>
 The funds raised will go toward Christopher’s father’s funeral so the family can celebrate his life and give him the service he deserves. He requested a burial, and Christopher’s family would truly appreciate any assistance to honor his wishes. If you are able to give, any donation would mean so much to the family during this difficult time. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would also help greatly. Thank you for supporting Christopher’s family as they honor their father.

<div>Dear family and friends. It is almost a year now since the original diagnosis for my son Danny. I am so proud of him and how he has battled this horrible disease. He has worked through chemo, treatments, and pain, while never missing a day from work. Danny is a hardworking man who lives paycheck to paycheck, but now Danny can no longer work. He has been off since September 4th. The ravages of this disease and the side effects of chemo and radiation has taken such tolls on his body.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The cancer is in his esophagus, stomach, and has invaded a third of his liver. The 4th of September was when became very jaundiced; he even worked that day. Thanks to his wonderful new doctor, he had Danny at the medical center in Las Vegas, the next day, where they put a stent in his bile duct, helping that situation greatly. The doctors have told him this cancer is terminal; they have not told him any time frame, all we need is a miracle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Currently, he is living with a lot of pain from the treatments he has received. He also experiences excruciating spasms which are incredibly debilitating. He applied for disability that has been approved, but this will not begin until March. We tried an appeal, but this is Social Security’s policy. So how is a family to survive? We, his family and friends, have helped all we can. We are coming once again to humbly ask for financial assistance and prayer for a miracle. We have been able to pay his insurance so far, and we can not allow this to lapse.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So here I am, Danny’s mom, humbly asking for help again. He is receiving no financial assistance until March. We are filing for other services, but right now it is just his wife working, and we all know with this economy, one salary doesn’t make it. He is a brave warrior against this horrible disease. Danny is such a hard worker, he just needs financial help now to take one worry from his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My family and I humbly appreciate your consideration.
</div>

<div>Blessings,

<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">Open your hearts…<br /><br />I obtained full custody of my niece, currently, age 7, and nephew, age 6, after their mother, my baby sister, was savagely murdered a year and a half ago by her babies father. She was only 30 and it completely destroyed us. Not even a year after our mother had passed from a terminal illness, she was only 60 and so full of life! The heartache is unbearable. I had to move out of my studio apartment and purchase a home to raise the babies in. My dad, who is a disabled Veteran, is going to stay with me to help me out with the kids so I can still work and maintain. It is just him and I and there’s only so much he can do, as he doesn’t work and just collects minimal benefits. I am desperately trying to do the right thing for them but times are so hard! I am struggling!!<br /><br />I am just trying to provide the best life I can for them, as I went from a single guy to a single dad, basically overnight. I am so behind on my bills and am having a hard time maintaining right now as I am currently trying to renovate my home on top of taking care of them. The place I bought came with a lot of work. Friends, family, and I attempted to do the work ourselves but reached the point where that became extremely overwhelming and now I’m in over my head. Between COVID, babysitting, food costs, clothing, and whatever else, on top of the other things they need as well as trying to set us up for the future, I have lost my way and I don’t have any other outlet to turn to, so here I am. <br /><br />We are currently staying with a friend while we wait for the renovation to be complete but help has been so hard to find and I’m trying to get as much of the work done as I can, myself, while working and going through the regular day to day. The place I’m currently staying at has many issues including a severe plumbing issue that the landlord doesn’t care to fix. On top of that, the landlord is evicting everyone here. My kids and I are deemed homeless right now, being that I can’t live in my place yet and we don’t have anywhere else to go. I just need help getting the place done and getting caught up so we can get back to life. We are sooo close! So please, anything helps! <br /><br />Pride aside, I don’t know what else to do at this point. Everything donated will ensure the babies have more of a solid future moving forward and hopefully get us back to life. I just want to make my sister proud. Please help! </span>
