Rosie was by my side since she was just a month old. Even in death she was loving, she was a very good girl. Her companionship meant the world to me, and she’s touched the hearts of everyone who’s met her.
Since mid-January, Rosie’s health took a sudden turn for the worst. After several vet visits and trying different medications with no improvement, we took her to an animal hospital for an ultrasound. The doctor called with heartbreaking news: there was an obstruction in her small intestine near her colon. It was a tumorous growth, blocking anything from passing through. It was just about to burst, and euthanasia reportedly saved her from sepsis that was in the foreseeable future. Rosie was my companion since I was a child, and she was beloved by anyone who meets her. Losing her has left a hole in my heart that I don’t know will ever be filled.
In memory of Rosie, and her endless love, all funds intended for her will now go on towards the recovery of my grandmother, who herself is struggling with a serious diagnosis around her cardiovascular health. Please, I pray you show kindness and mercy and donate to our family in this trying time. Only spare what you can, these are harsh times for everyone.
