My name is Ashlynn, and I’m asking for help on behalf of my friend Cassie, who experienced a devastating house fire this morning.

Thankfully, Cassie was not home at the time, but tragically, her two beloved cats were inside and did not survive. Anyone who knows Cassie knows how much they meant to her, and this loss alone has been heartbreaking.

In a matter of hours, Cassie lost so much. The fire started in her basement, causing severe damage to her home and destroying many of her belongings. After recently losing her job as a medical assistant, this has been an incredibly difficult setback.

Right now, Cassie is leaning on the support of friends and family as she tries to navigate what comes next. We are raising funds to help her begin rebuilding—covering immediate needs like clothing, essentials, temporary housing, and helping her move forward from this tragedy.
