It has been a difficult period for everyone but  for millions of people in the above category  who are greatly affected by this pandemic it has  been another time of pain and disappointment.  The purpose of this campaign is to help children and elderly people to have reasons to be happy and to cushion the effect of this pandemic

Millions of children and the elderly in many parts of the world including Nigeria, Kenya and Haiti do not have enough food to eat this difficult time. They have nothing to look forward to and will be going to bed in an empty stomach most nights. Help us today to feed them.

The effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the poor and underprivileged has been considerable and in many cases quite devastating. Those usually most vulnerable are children; young people and the elderly are now even more exposed to hunger and suffering from malnutrition. Many children depend on the meals they eat at school for proper nutrition and nourishment. Thousands of children go hungry every day because schools are shut down or can no longer provide due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Without food, they cannot carry on, and their immune systems are compromised, leaving them more vulnerable to the virus. Children and elderly need a regular supply of basic food staples to ward off hunger and disease. Many parents are experiencing depression from the fear and anxiety of not knowing where their next meal will come from, or how they will provide for their children, especially during Christmas. They need help, now more than ever.


The COVID-19 pandemic has not only disrupted and hurt many people all over the world, but it has also increased the need of people already struggling. Places where food, water, electricity, education, and healthcare are already scarce, are now requiring support and resources like never before. The pandemic has made hunger, thirst, homelessness, and other basic human needs many times worse that they were before. It is our wish that every family will be able to celebrate Christmas with joy despite the uncertainties in our world today. 

The Reaching out in Love Campaign is dedicated to helping children, young people and elderly people   across the world where the Daughters of Divine Love are working who are suffering from the effects of COVID-19 . It is led by the Daughters of Divine Love philanthropic office, a global organization of religious women who are present in those areas with greatest needs
