Like many of Canadians, have you found yourself wanting to punch me in the face? Well, if you're one of those people, put your money where your mouth is, in support of Eastside Boxing Club 's transformative community initiatives.
I will be boxing in a 3 round boxing card at BC Beer Wars and I'm asking for your help!
When: Saturday, April 18th, 2020
Where: Croatian Cultural Centre, 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver
Time: 2:00 pm until late
Why donate to Eastside Boxing Club, a non-profit gym in the Downtown Eastside?
-ESB's after-school boxing program for at-risk youth offers nutritious meals, physical education, tutoring, and warm clothing to Strathcona youth.
-Free self-defense series for female-identified, and all members of LGBTQ+ community.
-ESB offers beginner to advanced female-only boxing classes, taught by nationally-ranked female coaches.
The first lump sum $100 donation wins the opportunity to choose my walk-in song for Fight Night! *UPDATE: Lexi Mills is the winner, song choice TBD.

Are you actually getting punched in the face (and body) for charity?
You got it. For three months, dozens of craft beer industry folks will undergo intensive training 5 days a week in preparation for the main event, where I am proud to be representing Granville Island Brewing.
Can I punch you in the face?
No, but your donation to Eastside Boxing will contribute to many talented women from the craft beer community punching me in the face. Come watch the Purge and the final Fight Night to cheer on the woman who will be handing my ass to me! Links are below.

1) Come watch the Purge at 2pm on Sat, March 21 at ESB . Entry is $5 at the door and beer is $5. Cash only. These are qualifying matches before Fight Night.
2) Buy tickets to the final Fight Night at the Croatian Cultural Center on April 18. Tickets are $45 and proceeds go to ESB (on sale soon). They sell out fast!
