Por Amor a Samaí: Ayúdame a Seguir Cuidándola

Hola, soy Viridiana, madre de Samaí, mi única hija, el amor de mi vida. Desde su nacimiento, he sido su única cuidadora, y aunque nunca me he rendido, el peso de esta lucha diaria es inmenso. Samaí tiene 20 años y parálisis cerebral severa, y cada día enfrento el desafío de asegurarle una vida digna y llena de amor.

Mi vida gira en torno a ella: desde levantarla de la cama, bañarla, alimentarla, hasta acompañarla en cada una de sus terapias. Cada esfuerzo físico me ha dejado huellas, y aunque mi cuerpo ya no responde como antes, no hay alternativa: soy su única cuidadora, y depende completamente de mí.

He trabajado sin descanso para cubrir sus necesidades: terapias, medicinas, alimentos especiales, transporte y todo lo necesario para su bienestar. Sin embargo, el desgaste es cada vez mayor, y Samaí necesita más atención y cuidados especializados.

Hoy, Samaí requiere con urgencia:

Terapias y tratamientos médicos para mejorar su movilidad y bienestar.

Medicamentos y vitaminas esenciales.

Una cama especial para cuidados paliativos.

Terapia pulmonar para asegurar su respiración adecuada.

Aplicación de toxina botulínica cada 6 meses para relajar sus músculos.

A pesar de su condición, Samaí es una joven increíblemente feliz, llena de amor por la vida. Ama las plantas, los animales, el mar y, sobre todo, rodearse de quienes la quieren. Su sonrisa es mi motor, y mi mayor deseo es que siga disfrutando de la vida sin dolor, sin angustia, y con la comodidad que merece.

Pero para seguir brindándole los cuidados que necesita, necesito tu apoyo. Cada donación, grande o pequeña, nos acerca a mejorar su calidad de vida. Si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña es igualmente valioso.

For the Love of Samaí: Help Me Keep Caring for Her

Hi, I’m Viridiana, mother of Samaí—my only daughter and the love of my life. Since the day she was born, I’ve been her sole caregiver. I’ve never given up, but the weight of this daily battle is overwhelming. Samaí is 20 years old and has severe cerebral palsy, and every day I face the challenge of ensuring she lives a life full of dignity and love.

My life revolves entirely around her: from lifting her out of bed, bathing her, feeding her, to accompanying her to every therapy session. Every physical effort has left its mark on me, and though my body no longer responds the way it used to, I have no choice—she depends entirely on me.

I’ve worked tirelessly to cover her needs: therapies, medications, special foods, transportation, and everything else necessary for her well-being. However, the physical and emotional toll keeps growing, and Samaí now needs even more specialized care and attention.

Today, Samaí urgently needs:

Therapies and medical treatments to improve her mobility and well-being.

Essential medications and vitamins.

A special bed for palliative care.

Pulmonary therapy to ensure proper breathing.

Botulinum toxin application every six months to help relax her muscles.

Despite her condition, Samaí is an incredibly joyful young woman, full of love for life. She adores plants, animals, the sea, and most of all, being surrounded by people who love her. Her smile is my strength, and my greatest wish is for her to continue enjoying life—free from pain, free from fear, and with the comfort she deserves.
