When Pokemon Go came out, I was quick to want to get together with my friends to play. I created a event page just to keep everyone informed of what was going on and to get my friends off their butts. One person told another person who told that person and well if you've been active on the event pages or attended last night you know how quickly this group of 10 blew up to 1,000+. It was amazing and it was great, however we need to follow rules and do everything properly if we want to keep these meet ups going ( at that size ). Small groups hanging out at the park are no problem, but with the size of people we brought out last night for the safety of everyone involved and for us to create a POSITIVE image in the Pokemon world we need to do things right and the first step towards that is making sure we have all the proper permitting in place.

With the overwhelming success of the Cranes Roost Meetup, I would really like to obtain the permiting requiered to keep this going on a weekly,bi-weekly or monthly basis (which ever one the city is ok with)







Any excess funds will be used to continue paying for permits for future events; create HIGH QUALITY flags for each team and potentially create team t-shirts so that we can be one of the most Organized Pokemon Go Cities!



Last night showed me how a simple game helped people with social anxiety and other issues break free, It was amazing to see so many people working together and interacting as a community should. With so much going on in the world not only was that a beatiful thing but also refreshing. 

These events will continue to allow us to get together, make new friends, do some light excercise but most importantly be the very best!
