As of May 14th, we have deactivated our fundraiser because thanks to all the generosity of my neighbors, friends, family, and the world beyond, I have met my goal! In addition to this page, I sold meatsticks at my school, ran a pet photo contest, and received a number of cash and check donations. I can't wait to post pictures of the park's hillside you all have made possible once the work is complete!

Hello everyone!

My name is Xander Stover, and I have been in scouts since Tiger cub scouts in 1st grade. I'm a Life scout now, and beginning to work on the requirements for Eagle Scout, the final rank in scouting. My neighborhood has a civic association that leads and organizes the care and maintenance of our neighborhood park, Point Park. I've been working with them to plan my eagle scout project.

One of the borders of the park is a steep hill, which is undergoing lots of erosion and infringing on the neighboring soccer field. We will be planting lots of bushes to combat the erosion and to beautify the park's border. We will also replace the communal charcoal grill and relocate it to a better used area of the park.
