Please Help with Our Loved One’s Final Rest

In the early morning hours of November 6th, Jonathan Janise tragically lost his life in a fatal accident.

Jonathan was a gifted craftsman with an infectious laugh and loving spirit.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Cassie Gunter, and their two boys, Jonathan Dominic (17) and Damian Cassius (15)

Our family has been devastated by this sudden and tragic loss. No one is ever prepared for something like this, but Jonathan’s little family was already doing the best they could and this has been a heart-wrenching blow to all of us.

We are only asking enough to have Jonathan’s remains cremated so that Cassie and their boys can scatter his ashes in the places he loved.

Jonathan could always be found either out at his lucky fishing spot in Port Barre, or at his favorite pool hall where he could show off his skills with the cue he typically kept in his truck.

Jonathan could spend hours with his boys, teaching them all he knew about nature and the outdoors. He was an accomplished cook and enjoyed being in the kitchen, experimenting with different twists in classic dishes.

But, truly, Jonathan’s favorite thing was to ride around in his truck with the music blasting and his best girl, Cassie, by his side.
