Hi, my name is Emily, and I am a 16-year old currently studying at Carmel College with a strong desire to help others.

I have been given the opportunity to travel to Lourdes to support and care for people who are sick, elderly, or in need of comfort and companionship.

Lourdes is a place of hope for so many, and being able to give my time, kindness, and energy there would mean the world to me.

Helping others has always been important to me. Right now, I volunteer at Willowbrook where I work in the shop and help support the day-to-day running of the shop. Through this role, I've had the chance to interact with and help many people, and it has shown me how meaningful even small acts of kindness and service can be.

This experience has inspired me to want to do even more for others.

As a student, funding this trip on my own is difficult. Any donation, big or small, would help me cover the travel costs and bring me one step closer to serving others in Lourdes.
