Hi everyone, My name is Cynthia Delva. I have had the opportunity to serve here in Huntsville, AL, and all over the US. In addition I have done several short term missions in the Carribean, Africa and Asia. I have always wanted to do service for a year in a foreign country and my mother was instrumental in me taking action to make that a reality. I have been approved by the GC and the NAD Office of Volunteer Ministries to serve as a volunteer in South America.
July 1, 2014 I will be leaving to begin my assigned service as an English Teacher at Peruvian Union University in PERU!!!! YAY!!! I will be there for a year!! It is so exciting.
I need your help to get there though. I have a goal of $3000.00 to raise for round trip airfare, travel documents, inoculations and local travel for the time that I am there. With your donation I will be one step closer to reaching my goal. My goal is to have all the funds by June 1, 2014. I would greatly appreciate you sharing this page with others to spread the word as well.
