Hunger in our hometown is an unfortunate reality many of our neighbors struggle with. That’s why Nuvision Credit Union is doing our part through our Help Fight Hunger Food Drive now through October 16, 2026, collecting financial donations for Paz de Cristo.

Nuvision will match donations dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. Together with your support, we can provide relief to individuals and families in Arizona.

ABOUT PAZ DE CRISTO

Two million people in Arizona do not have enough food to eat. Nearly 30% of our neighbors live on a paycheck that barely covers rent and the basic necessities of life. Many go without a meal for days.

That’s why Paz de Cristo is here.

Last year, they served more than 14,000 men, women, children, veterans, and seniors. Every night of the year, dinner is served in their dining hall. Caring volunteers prepare a hot, nutritious meal for those struggling in Mes and the Phoenix East Valley.

Emergency food boxes are prepared in their warehouse and given out every day of the week. More than 50,000 meals are provided monthly. Each month, they receive more than 7,000 visits by about 2,400 unique guests of which 600 people arrive for the very first time.

They give their guests a hand so that they can get back on their feet. Their motto is "Feed, Clothe, and Empower."
