In 2014, I was going on a train in Melbourne when I saw a person who had Mother Mary tattoo in prayer hands. I felt Mother Mary was Mother Earth, and she was in pain and was asking for help.

The same day I saw a video of the Dalai Lama, in which he said we have only one planet and if we destroy it, we have nowhere else to go. Felt, I need to do something. Cannot just watch Mother Earth cry and die and that’s how the idea for this novel started.

I also personally experienced and felt Mother Earth’s pain and anger in forest fires in Yosemite. Her tears in flash floods of the Himalayas. Her congested and fevered body in 40c year around temperatures in Indian cities.

For those who don’t believe in environmental destruction, I beg you to go to any major big city in India, to feel what I felt and what millions of people are going through every day.

Dried or polluted rivers, no trees in sight, dust, and polluted air. Is it what we are handing over to the next generations? Shame on us. We are so busy that we are not seeing our common mother dying before our eyes. Do you think we can survive if she dies?

Did you know that Tibet is not a free country? The Chinese communist party (CCP) occupied the peaceful Himalayan country of Tibet in 1949. Since the occupation, 1.2 million Tibetans have been killed, 6,000 monasteries destroyed, and over 150 thousand Tibetans live as refugees outside Tibet, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Did you know that just carrying the flag of Tibet or even a picture of the Dalai Lama is a political crime in Tibet? Can you imagine, CCP wants to find the next Dalai Lama? Did you know, CCP kidnapped the next high Lama after Dalai Lama, Panchen Lama, and no one knows where he is?

It was in 2012, I had my first serendipitous interaction with his Holiness the Dalai Lama, in Dharmshala, India where he lives in exile and also first came to know and feel the suffering that Tibetans are facing in exile after losing their country. I felt I cannot be quiet about Tibet. That is the reason for adding Dalai Lama to Pacha mama in the title.

Over the years, I stumbled across beautiful prophecies and mystic scriptures, and books on everything you can imagine from what happens after death to Sky Dancers, and to my surprise, there are secret prophecies on Tibet and Mother Earth -and - the connection between them. Shhh… I cannot give away secrets.

All these many more experiences, including interactions with Holiness the Dalai Lama, made me give up everything and just focus on writing this book to give voice to mother earth, Tibetans, and to millions of species, we are wiping to extinction.

I have been writing and researching this book since 2014. Most of my time I spent in Dharmshala or riding on a Royal Enfield motorbike across India to feel mother India/earth and to find solutions to how we can save her from dying – and – to know about what happened in Tibet from Tibetans in exile. Also spending endless hours researching and reading ancient scriptures.

I have been surviving on my saving since 2014-and-survived car crashes, motorbike crashes, laptop crashes, burnout crashes, and emotional crashes. It has not been an easy journey, but I can say it was an epic journey, interactions with the Dalai lama and motorbike rides across the Himalayas. Cannot walk on this journey alone anymore. I want you to stand, walk, dance, and sing with me on this journey (Shhhh… Bollywood stuff coming soon)
