@MyriadOutreachProject is a direct action mutual aid project group fueled by community economics located here in the Bay Area! We are entering our Fifth year of operation and have fed over 5,133+ people. We recently completed a 100 person distribution on January 25, 2021, in San Francisco, Ca.
Major shout-out to @jon_blessed of @uncleboys and his team for providing us with 100 freshly cooked burgers and fries! Jon hosts a monthly no questions asked food giveaway at his shop in SF, and it was only right to connect with another mutual aid event! We paired it up with Our "I love you pack" that was assembled by @_kgomezz_ @its_aft & @capoeira.kid, which contained: water bottle, banana, granola bar, socks, beanie, three protective masks, pack of wet wipes, banana bread made my @estella.sierra.98 & rice pudding made by Mami Chayo! Alongside a jacket and/or sweatshirt donated by @calmaofficial_org, @broobs, @dylankatethegreat & @ctomiko !!! We dispersed meals and supplies in the Haight and Tenderloin area.
Our next event is in Oakland on February 27, 2021, at Lake Merritt! Our bank is currently at $100, and we need between $1000-$1400 to successfully acquire all necessary materials for the project. To feed and supply 200 people hot plates and resources, we need your help! Please help us spread the word by donating, liking, sharing, and tapping in with your networks. Everything is free and provided on-site for volunteers, thanks to our social media following. 100% of donations go towards outreach supplies, and our volunteers are in no way financially compensated. We have no political affiliations and are creating and maintaining an inclusive project space to build alongside like-minded people of all walks of life. We are solely operating through direct action and mutual aid philosophies, and our projects are open for everyone and anyone. We know people have time and no money, money and no time, time and money, and everything in between, so this a chance for people to all chip in outside of government institutions and organizations as autonomous humans. Please help us keep this project afloat.
We currently have several monthly projects that need your support in sustaining—our direct action mission in community spaces is fueled by people like you. Myriad Outreach Projects also engage in garbage pick-ups, banner drops, community art projects, and installations for marches, as well as community crochet circles, to name a few.
