I'm riding in the Door County Century to support the OutReach Community Center.
Same-sex marriage has been legal for nearly a decade, however:
- LGBTQ+ youth are four times as likely to attempt suicide.
- LGBTQ+ individuals are twice as likely to have a mental health disorder.
- LGBTQ+ youth are twice as likely to experience homelessness.
- 56% of LGBTQ+ youth seeking mental health care cannot obtain it.
