Hi, my name is Scott and I am the founder of Operation Forgotten Valor. Operation Forgotten Valor is a fundraiser that raises money/awareness for Vietnam Veterans. They had given the ultimate sacrifice and got nothing in return so I have chosen to raise money to help them buy food, pay for clothes, pay medical bills, and etc. I plan to walk/bike across the U.S. from MCRD Parris Island, SC to MCRD San Diego, CA to help with this cause. I have set up a fundraiser where the money would directly help Vietnam Vets at gofundme.com/f/OpForgottenValor. I have set up this gofundme to raise money for my trip. Any money will greatly help me with buying gear and supplies needed to make my trip more manageable. My plan is to find a 12 passenger van that can be used to follow me across the United States and help to haul gear, food, and give me shelter if needed. Also, give me and my safety a place to sleep.
