Friends and Family,
We never imagined this would be part of our story, but here we are, still holding on to hope for one more miracle. Our journey through infertility started back in August 2020. Since then, we’ve walked through two egg retrievals, three embryo transfers, countless prayers, and so many highs and lows.
By the grace of God and through the gift of IVF we were blessed with two beautiful children, Lily and Ryder. They are the absolute light of our lives. But our hearts have continued to feel the tug that someone is still missing.
Earlier this year, we transferred our one remaining embryo, filled with hope that this was it. But sadly, that transfer failed. It’s hard to put into words how heartbreaking that was. Yet, through it all, we’ve clung to the dreams, literal dreams, we’ve had over the years of a third baby. Family members have dreamt it, we’ve felt it deep in our hearts, and we’re believing that Baby Young is still part of our story.
We’ve recently learned that IVF is our best path forward to bring another precious baby into our lives. This wasn’t an easy realization. We had hoped to move forward with a less intensive treatment, but our recent test results made it clear that IVF is necessary. While we are so thankful this option exists, the financial burden of IVF is overwhelming. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover these treatments, and the cost of one IVF cycle is more than we can manage on our own.
Every appointment, medication, lab, and procedure comes straight out of pocket. And while asking for help is never easy, we know we can’t do this alone.
We’re doing a Puzzle Piece Fundraiser to help cover the upcoming costs. Every $10 donated will “sponsor” one puzzle piece. Your name will go on the back of the piece, and once it’s all complete, we’ll frame it between two pieces of glass. One day, Baby Young will see all the people who helped bring them into the world, piece by piece, prayer by prayer.
Whether you can give one piece or many, please know how much it means to us. Every dollar truly helps. Every name on that puzzle will be a reminder of hope, love, and the village walking beside us.
We’re believing that our story isn’t over, and that God still has beautiful things in store. Thank you for being a part of it.
With love and so much hope,
Jess and Chuck
