Operation Deep Freeze- Prescott, AZ
Tax deductible
Operation Deep Freeze provides a warm bed on freezing nights.
Operation Deep Freeze (ODF) is an emergency winter shelter for people who are homeless in the quad-city area. Last year, ODF was open for 60 of Prescott's coldest, wettest winter nights.* From December through March 1,026 men and 136 women found a warm bed at the Salvation Army or other partner facilities on nights when they might have frozen to death if they attempted to sleep outside.
ODF is maintained by three local groups: Coalition for Compassion and Justice (CCJ), Salvation Army, and the Quad City Interfaith Council (QCIC). These groups also advocate for long-term solutions to end homelessness.
Please donate for our winter operation
We are grateful for the many faith-based, civic and nonprofit organizations and caring individuals who help in this effort.
For the 2019-2020 winter we must raise $12,000 to keep the shelter operating.
