The Reality Many Veterans Face
Every day, veterans across this country wake up fighting battles most people will never see. Some are struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, financial hardship, and homelessness. Tragically, far too many lose that fight.
An estimated 17 veterans die by suicide every single day. That is over 500 a month and more than 6,000 every year. These are not just numbers — they are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends, and people who once volunteered to serve this country.
Why This Mission Is Personal
As a veteran myself, this mission is personal. Too many veterans feel forgotten after the uniform comes off. Too many are struggling in silence. Too many are sleeping in cars, on couches, in shelters, or fighting mental health battles alone because they do not know where to turn.
A Real Story of Hope
I have personally seen what happens when veterans are given the right support system and someone willing to believe in them. One veteran came to us with almost nothing except the willingness to improve his life and provide for his two daughters. He was a single father on the verge of homelessness and close to losing everything.
Over the next six months, he was connected with housing, organizations, job training, certifications, and the resources he needed to rebuild his life. He worked hard, stayed focused, and refused to give up. Today, he is living independently, making over $75,000 a year, and providing a life for his daughters that he can truly be proud of.
That is why this mission matters. Sometimes veterans do not need someone to save them — they just need a real opportunity, support, and the right people in their corner.
